Hold on tight to your dreams, believe in them, feel them, go for them... and watch them become reality |
"Outer Mongolia... no longer a fantasy"
My fantasy was going to Mongolia but my reality is that I was born with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), which left me dependent on a wheelchair, with limited strength and significant breathing problems. Travelling such a long distance from Australia to a relatively closed country like Mongolia should not have been considered an achievable goal given my health and mobility challenges, but the beckoning of Mongolia was far too strong. Now I can say that my dream of visiting Mongolia is "no longer a fantasy." OUTER MONGOLIA...No longer a fantasy has an important message for: if you truly believe in doing something, and if it is meant to be, then anything is possible, whether you are disabled or not. OUTER MONGOLIA...No longer a fantasy illustrates the Law of Attraction at its finest! Contrary to what seemed to be the logical and sensible thing to do... on July 15, 1995, Ro, Sally, Pat, Fred and I embarked on a fantastic journey... to Mongolia. Together we flew eight times, travelled on the Trans Mongolian Railway, drove through and over the Gobi Desert in a bus, slept in tents on the steppes of Mongolia, touched the Great Wall of China, slept in a yurt, and saw a yak. We visited countries, saw places, met people, and experienced things we never thought possible. Come along with me and my friends to this timeless land that allowed my spirit to find where it truly belongs.

Neither is it unusual to have another place that simply shelters and furnishes our inner mind wherever we happen to be. That inner place for Jeanne May was and is remote Mongolia. Had been since later childhood and at a still youthful forty years she decided to up and trek there, matching the land with her thoughts and bells. Her readable and delightfully understated true story made me feel a companion on her trip and I am now looking at travel brochures to see if they list the land of my hidden thought. Jeanne May has beauty to offer any reader. Bernard Hobbs ... Wellington, New Zealand, September 2007. This is a fascinating read of a very intimate and personal journey. It reads as a person who has overcome personal trials with courage, determination and I must say a deliberate course of life. READ THIS BOOK. Dana Quigly ... Canada, September, 2007.
